2005-05-12 : MySQMail-courier-logger was crashing in some cases when syslog sent small lines to the courier FIFO. It was due to a lack of input checking. This has been corrected and tested on production servers with high traffic.
2005-03-07 : NEW! Debian binary packages are now available in the FTP.

1. What does MySQMail do ?
MySQmail helps keep all the Qmail, Postfix and Courier MTAs login and traffic information in a database.
This tool was written mostly to work with Domain Technologie Control (DTC). MySQMail is not mandatory for DTC, but its a way better to have it. In other words, it's needed if you want mail traffic informations.
I (Thomas Goirand) needed to have qmail accounting, so I had to write a couple of binaries. Fortunatly qmail is modular and its really easy to make some add-ons. I did also mysqmail-qmail-pop3d package to enhance qmail a bit: pop will use MySQL backend for password (alternative password program), and POP traffic is logged into MySQL (sorted by mailbox). Later on, Damien Mascord took my C work and used it to make a Postfix and a Courier logger. Finaly, I took the whole stuff and split it in 5 packages to better feet any server configurations.
